The 3 Most Useful Types of Paid Search Ads for B2B

Paid search ads are useful for all search advertising. 

But they're especially useful for B2B search. 

There are 3 types of ads that are most effective.

Of course, there are extensions everybody uses. 

You have site links. These increase the size of your search bar at the top of Google. 

Remember, the end goal is to rank higher in the search engine result page (SERP). 

But these are three things that come to mind as being extra useful for B2B specifically.

#1: Google lead ads. 

These aren't as mature and useful as Facebook lead ads, but they're an option.

Basically, you can collect lead info directly in Google from a search ad. 

Then, test whether it's more effective to collect the lead on Google than to send leads to your website. 

#2: The phone extension. 

This requires a sales team that's used to closing people from calls. 

If they are, having your phone number tested in the extension can work well for you.

If you're not used to taking lots of phone calls, this may not be the right choice. 

#3: Verticals. 

In some verticals you can pull in reviews for your B2B software. 

That is, using tools like Trustpilot to make your results stand out in the SERPs.
