Should you use automation tools on top of Facebook?

Generally, it’s not the best practice in B2B to automate your Facebook ads with 3rd party tools.

Here’s why I think that way:

The old school way of advertising on Facebook benefited from these tools.

Those Facebook ad campaigns would have hundreds of assets that had hundreds of ads each.

Then, they would find a hundred different interest groups and target each one with a micro campaign.

Now the platform's AIs are so good, so that is no longer the way we do things.

To maximize your investment, you want to have as few campaigns as possible.

You want a powerful conversion event that works for a wide audience.

Let the platform intelligence choose your audience for you.

Focus on creating an incredible campaign.

Automating your ad campaign is counterproductive as well as expensive.

Some tools are really useful for automation outside of Facebook, like Zapier.

Zapier gets Facebook leads from ads over to your CRM, and it can send data from your CRM to Facebook as custom conversions.

However, Facebook's tools typically do more harm than good for your ad campaign.

If so, which ones do you use?
